A pipping ceremony was held at the District Police Office Ganderbal where SSP Ganderbal, Shri Khalil Ahmad Poswal–JKPS, pinned the ranks to the newly promoted Superintendent of Police, Shri Owaise Rashid–JKPS.
On the occasion, SSP Ganderbal extended warm congratulations to the officer and advised him to continue serving with greater enthusiasm, zeal, and commitment. He underlined that promotion is not merely an elevation in status but also brings additional responsibilities and challenges, particularly in strengthening teamwork within J&K Police.
He wished the officer success in future endeavors, encouraging him to uphold the highest standards of dedication and public service. The promoted officer pledged to work with the same spirit and enthusiasm, ensuring better service delivery to the people.Other senior police officers of the district were also present during the ceremony.
